i loved that after looking at a flower that jones thought was beautiful he would say
"goodness"
and then smell them... so sweet....
i had never been to the desert botanical gardens... they are beautiful... and i very much loved the quotes they have throughout the gardens... this was one of my most favorite...

this is jones... not understanding that you cannot run through the flowers... sorry d.b.g.... i know that you have rocks lining all the pathways to show us where to go and not go... but jones doesnt know the difference between rocks and rock paths...
i dont remember when exactly... but i taught jones that cactus hurt... so every time he saw one... he would yell out...
"ouch!"
however... does he really understand??? because he would walk right up to the cactus and get super close to say it...
just reading the letters... he is obsessed with letters...
too bad that soon after this he climb onto this same wall and as i turn around for one second he somehow fell off the other side...
the good thing about falling off a wall into the herb gardens... you smell good even if you are screaming so everyone in the whole garden is staring at you...
