thankful for so many things...

thanks to all those who were able to come to guaymas/san carlos for the blessing of jones brent martindale... it was a beautiful blessing and wonderful to have so many family members and loved ones here to share such a special time... thank you!!!

thanks to all the priesthood holders for participating, but most of all... thanks to brent, for being worthy to hold such a power, words cannot convey the blessing that this is in our lives... thank you...

4 generations...

i loved this picture... this is one picture that i was looking forward to with so much anticipation... here are four generations of martindale men... all first born sons, all born in march, each with the same hair cut and all devilishly handsome!!!

we also had the honor of celebrating alans birthday while he was visiting, march 16th, the same day as the blessing... i forgot to buy birthday candles for the cupcakes... so we figured that this candle would suffice... happy birthday alan!!!

yeah!!! she is finally here... sally belle hollobaugh born march 12th 2008... we are so excited to announce that justin, shauna, owen and drew hollobaugh have a new addition to their family! congratulations! she is so precious and adorable!!!

today, march 11th 2008, brent alan martindale is 25 years old... a quarter century! i am so blessed to have him in my life.... he literally is my other half and i would be lost without him. happy birthday love!!!

jones brent martindale is here... he arrived march 1st 2008 at 11:45 pm... after a few minor complications we released from the hospital tuesday, march 4th 2008, around noon and now are safe at home and doing well... we are so excited to finally have him here in our arms...

... the hospital brought us this dinner as a "congratulations on your new baby"... you can tell it is mexico, always coca-cola

we wonder if he will have my green eyes, they look like they are a dark grey/blue/green depending on the light... we will see...

this is his martindale nose, it is so similar to brents... or "light bulb nostrils" as karen would say....

19 1/2 inches long... 6 lbs 10 ozs...

maybe he will be a swimmer like his grandpa clark with these long legs...

he always has his lips pursed...
