what would you do with tomatoes?

my dad has some tomatoe plants down here that are so huge and produce a ton of tomatoes... i am trying to think of what i can make with so many tomatoes...

i bought fresh mozzarella cheese and avacado oil... and made cibatta sandwiches... so good...

then i made tomatoe mozzarella egg toast this morning for breakfast...

i hope to make a marinera sauce...

tuesday brent brought these home for dinner...

so we had to figure out how to steam lobster... it was so wierd to touch them, especially since they were not completely dead yet...

my least favorite part... i dont like my food looking at me...

a great weekend in mesa...

we finally got to meet sally, shauna and justins new baby girl... she is 11 days younger than jones...

jones went swimming for the first time on saturday... but didnt really like it... just a bit too cold...

jones turned 3 months on sunday... he is growing up so fast!

we almost had the whole martindale family together on sunday... the only one that couldnt be there was jason... he is serving his mission in tennessee...

another new recipe...

brent went on a stake camp out two weekends ago so jones and i got to kick it....

we were going to make banana bread with these very brown bananas,

but we had visitors instead and now have a wonderful new mexican food recipe.... yummy chili rellenos... they are so fresh tasting...

...then we finally tried out our magic bullet...

to make vanilla mouse with mango and strawberry ceviche... yum!!!

our weekend...

brent + homophobic = very very bad sunburn...

he didnt want to look gay and ask for some help from the other guys... funny thing is the other guys didnt want to ask either, they all had funny sunburns afterwards...

brent + other guys who like to spear things = stingrays

brent, evan and kevin all had so much fun spearing stingrays for hours... then they finally decided to keep one for a souvenir... you can see the crazy stinger that comes out of their tail... i hate those things so much!!!
