well... i got pulled over the other day, the 6th of march to be exact, 2007. the best part is, that i got pulled over for making a legal u-turn... thats right a legal u-turn. so, i dont know all the laws in mexico, but this one i thought was very very odd. i was making a u-turn, and pulled out just a little too much and a woman in her car had to go around the tip of my car, just a little. (the road i was on is lowere elevation than the opposite direction road, so there is a hill to get to the other side, well, it was big enough that i had to give the car some gas, and i gave it a little too much) Really it was not that big of a deal, i did not mean to go out that far, and there was not another car around, nothing happened, no one got hurt... so i am just driving to my house, i had just picked up the 2nd counselor in the young womens presidency, we were going to have a meeting. i am turning into where our house is, the road to the subdivision, and the cops are right behing me so i pulled over to let them by, and that is when i found out they were coming for me. i guess in mexico you can call the police if you think someone did you wrong. so that woman in the car that had to slightly swerve, called the cops on me and complained. unfortunatly i did not have anything with me but a cell phone, so i could not show them my license, but they ended up being very nice and told me to be more careful. the 2nd couselor was quite scared, so that made me a little nervous, but it turned out alright. oh... the lady told them that there was a no u-turn sign where i "almost" hit her... what a liar.... or she is just crazy! hahaha... i love mexico...
