cheaper than flying to paris..

these are Ladurée macaroon cookies...

i really wanted them... although i have never had them... they sounded/looked amazingly wonderful!

... then i went to trader joes and literally found them the day after i had been thinking how i could possibly get a macaroon cookie that is only sold in europe and the middle east...

these beauties were so yummy!

we all enjoyed them...

but... i still am trying to figure out when/how we can get to paris to get some original Ladurée macaroons... and try all of their amazing flavors...

another highlight... we picked our first strawberry from our strawberry plant out back... it was also very yummy!  cant wait for more of them to turn red!!

just enjoying the beautiful weather we have been having!!!

jones cant wait for brent to get home everyday so they can jump together!

memorial day weekend...

what we did for memorial day weekend

the beach... fro-yo... getting the nursery ready... feeding our neighbors goats... more beach... annual ward breakfast... surfride sale... smores... bonfire on the beach...

i dont know how jones loves them... because this picture is actually pretty scary... but the kid loves to get "leaves" and feed the "goaties"...

strawberries...

"u-pick" season finally came...

so we went to pick some of the most delicious strawberries ever!

... and i cant help but share a few of the pictures that were my favorite as we picked and ate our way through the strawberry fields...

jones just asked me today if we could go back to get some more because "we just dont have anymore"...

jones thought it was so fun that i let him take charge of the camera... he took these all by himself...

it was such a beautiful day out... so we ate dinner out back and then i made chocolate chip banana muffins (that is why jones took a picture of them) with our very brown bananas... it was a perfect evening!!!
