i also loved loved loved when we were on dumbo... he would not stop laughing... he was so happy and then we would go up and down as fast as the ride would let us and he loved it!

heimlich's chew chew train...

my favorite story and sorry if you have already heard it... is when we were in line for heimlich's chew chew train... the train conductor/ride operator shut the gate in front of us when the train was full... and told us that we would go on the next one... well, when this happened... jones began to cry... all i can think is that he thought he was not going to get to go... luckily, the next chew chew train was there within seconds... silly boy...

the carrousel...
...he also loved the carrousel... he kept wiggling for the horse/ride to start... he was so impatient sometimes... but as soon as it started he was so excited... he was even trying to talk to the lady that was on the horse next to him... he was so excited!

they made every couple a cake and then we had to decorate them with fondant... brent came up with the design... and we had so much fun!!! and everyone made such amazing cakes... so creative!!!

it has only been hours... but we are counting down the days... 87 more left... we miss him very much!!! good thing he is the tough one!!!

ssshhhhh.... dont tell....

for christmas my parents gave everyone a "fondos para disneylandia" (disneyland funds) money counter... so that whenever you have change you can save for disneyland in hopes that we would could go sometime this year.... well.... while living in mexico we saved all our american change in one big baggy... so when we got this money counter we started putting all the change in and before we knew it we had.... well.... lets just say a lot.... because guess where we are heading as soon as i am done typing.... you guessed it...

.... but.... ssssshhhhhh.... we are totally surprising my brother... you know how you get into disneyland for free on your birthday.... well, brandons bday is tomorrow so we are all going... he has no idea...

.... we are so excited to take jones... and to be able to spend such a fun weekend together right before brent leaves for boot camp...

(for those of you that dont know... he sprained his ankle really bad and had to stay home for two extra weeks, he leaves monday)

the tradition pushes on...

a long time ago... grandma and grandpa clark were helping my family move from utah to arizona... and i was just a little girl... grandpa had these funny cookies... and you know how little kids are for cookies... so i asked, "can i try one of those?" .... little did i know that those cookies would become one of my favorites and that we would always joke about the first time i tried the cookie that is more than just a cookie... fig newtons....

just recently grandpa and i were talking about this while they came to visit and he reminded me that i must carry on tradition and that jones must soon try these delicious little cookies in hopes that he too would love them....

... well... that day came just last week and i am proud to announce that jones too is in love!

to a life time of memories..... we love you fig newtons!

jones just had two molars break through and to celebrate we bought new pjs... dont you wish you just got new teeth???!!!

... he was so strong and tough... poor thing... we just thought that he was stilling getting over being sick... but then they appeared... not just one... but two teeth... yeah for easier chewing!!!
