we had some visitors...
my parents flew in and we picked them up at the "airplaneport"... that is what jones calls it...
as you can see he was very happy!
i had to document this kids LOVE for hamburgers...

then on sunday more family arrived...
my aunt and uncle, their son jaxon and my grandparents... it was a party!
and lucky for me when you invite shauna over for dinner you also get a good family picture!
...i actually asked if she would take a picture of our garden dinner... it was kind of last minute to eat outside... but it was the best! i think that maybe one of my favorite things in life... good food to eat with amazing and loving people...
such a great evening...

monday it was on to legoland...
this is such a random picture... but when your boy that doesnt always love to take pictures says, "mom, take my picture"... you do it...
i love him...
he even wanted him picture with some lego ghosties...
too bad they are not eating burnt toasties!
(that was for owen, drew and sally - i still laugh every time i think of that book - i want it)

they came for action packed vaca... next was tuesday at disneyland...
the cars... if you want to have a sore stomach from laughing... please come to disneyland with us and have jones be your chauffeur...
i didnt realize it until i started making this post... jones woke up the other day saying:
"mom... i want to watch star wars!"
we do not own it... nor has he ever seen it... we have a few t-shirts... but thats it... so i was a little confused... but it was sure funny when he kept repeating it...
then i remembered this picture below...
this was his face while we watched the star wars show at disneyland... maybe someday he will actually train to become a jedi...

he loves buzz... but this is as close as he would get for a picture...

this was way too fun to stop after one picture...

we even celebrated my dads birthday one day early while we were altogether...
we ended the night with a sword fight...
jaxon got the official star wars light saber... jones decided to go with the mickey version...
both kids we pleasently happy!!!
